Coco Glucoside

Coco glucoside is a surfactant which can act as a detergent, wetting agent, emulsifier, foaming agent, and dispersant. It is derived from coconut oil, corn, potato starch & fruit sugars. It is made from renewable materials and is highly biodegradable. It is extremely mild to the skin and is suitable for people with sensitive skin conditions.

Glycerine – Vegetable, Organic

Glycerine has many functions, it is a self-preserving ingredient and it is a humectant which means it attracts and holds moisture. Glycerine is a natural constituent of fatty acid triglycerides. The glycerine is derived from certified organic non-GMO oils including corn and soy. It does not contain any Palm oil derivatives

Olivem 1000

Olivem 1000 is an emulsifier and thickener. It is made from natural olive derivatives and has been clinically tested to be hypoallergenic.

Preservative Eco

Preservative Eco is a broad – spectrum preservative which contains four different components – Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerine, Sorbic Acid. All these ingredients can be extracted from natural sources such as willow bark, rowan berries and pine resin. It is palm free and is eco – friendly and is therefore accepted for use in natural and organic products.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium Bicarbonate more commonly known as ‘Baking Soda’, raises the PH level. It gently softens, smooths and exfoliates the skin.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan Gum is a polysaccharide (sugar) secreted by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It is produced by the fermentation of glucose, sucrose, or lactose. It is used in cosmetics as a thickener and stabiliser, where it helps to prevent emulsions from separating.
