Our skincare uses hydrosols and plant oils as the foundation for our range, ensuring products contain the beneficial plant compounds that deliver nourishment to your skin. Hydrosols are derived from the steam distillation process used to extract essential oils from plants, making them a pure co-product of this natural extraction method.

BOTANICAL ENRICHMENT: They are derived from the distillation of plant materials like leaves, flowers, and fruits, retaining beneficial compounds that offer diverse skincare advantages, including skin soothing, hydration, and nourishment.
OPTIMAL PH BALANCE: They typically possess a slightly acidic pH, closely mirroring the skin’s pH (around 4.5-5.5). Incorporating products with a pH akin to the skin helps sustain its acid mantle, a protective barrier crucial for maintaining healthy skin.

Our products are packaged in glass jars and bottles which can either be recycled or reused. Our items are packaged in boxes which are made of 100% recycled materials and are 100% compostable and curbside recyclable. Our tissue paper is printed with soy ink, acid free paper and is FSC certified – it’s 100% compostable or recycle friendly.
Any preservatives used are derived from natural sources. Natural Zest products do not contain any harmful chemicals.
